I've always been interested in shoes but that interest has never really translated to my feet in any substantial way. As a traveler working my way through India and South East Asia, my focus was on comfort. Although I love the way a heel looks, I could never bring myself to wear them. I have some very cool vintage shoes found in little op-shops in Amsterdam, but I wore them once in over a year. Since I have arrived back in Australia, my interest in clothes and my aesthetic has undergone some changes...and that has meant heels are creeping back in. I LOVE my Urge wedges and I'm excited to branch out and add some amazing heels to my collection.

If I could choose shoes from any designer, LaRare would certainly be in my shortlist. After honing her skills at French fashion houses such as Balmain, Michel Klein, Thierry Mugler and Largerfeld Gallery, Nathalie Elharrar began the label in January 2007 and has certainly made her mark!! Check out these sexy sexy heels, all from her Winter 2010/2011 collection.

More homey ideas

How to hang frameless pictures...

A cloud shaped cookie-cutter!!!!!!

So simple...

When I started summer university holidays in November, I don't have books to read and review, papers to write and exams to study for, and to be honest, it was hard to was adjust to. I go through this anxious faze at the beginning of a holiday, where I feel I need to be doing something, but I'm not sure what. Whilst pondering how I should fill my new free time, I came across an idea that was kinda revolutionary...I should do more of what makes me happy. It's amazing when you snap back to how easy life can be sometimes, and how we needlessly complicate things.
